Below is a link to the info on how to start QSPOOL in a background partition as well as how to use the QSTARTX program. This will show you how to start the unspooling process for a particular spool. You can choose to run in "forever mode" or not and to "skip incomplete jobs" or not. It does not allow for the specification of a list of jobs however.

Creating a command list for unspooling one or more jobs is what happens when you run QSPOOL and select jobs with page range, number of copies, etc. A command file is build and passed to a background partition for processing.
