No Joy, when I tried to run Comet with the new Cosh I got the message "One or more file servers required to run Comet are unreachable".
The only thing I am not certain of is if I loaded the new cosh over 2006-363 not 2005-363.( I am pretty sure I loaded the 2006 version).
One other thing I noticed is that on all the machines that I had trouble with I also lost their printer drivers. As soon as I rebooted the PC the message would come up that Windows had found a new device. I also am not sure why I had to reboot, I am thinking that sometimes the Comet installer asked me to reboot and sometimes it didn't.
Last night I also upgraded one of the branches to 2005-363 and I had no problems at all, however most of their PC's are still on 98 and the server is XP not w2k3. They also would not be as up to date with the latest Microsoft stuff, its the end of the line branch and we quite often dont quite get there, or if we do we are way to short on time.
I can stay here one more day if it will help, I am currently back at 508 & 358, can I go up to 510 & 358 and then experiment with workstation versions or could the problem be in 510. Its a bit difficult taking the server down to swap between 508 & 510.
