Multi-Line Edit Control question

Is there a way to control the number of rows and characters per line on a Multi-Line Edit control. I've been looking at BigTDlg.Ibs for insight.

cosCtlId = IDC.BIGTEXT
cosItemSize = 300
Gosub COS.EditLimitText

Seems to limit the total number of characters.

I can use VS to size the input area to just the right size to give me 10 by 30 but I'd like to have a general purpose dialog.
