Is it possible to select/launch a report from Data Express using the keyboard only?
Or, to put it another way: is there a magic series of key strokes I can use (and later put in a /KEYFILE for automation) that will select a particular view and launch it?
From what I'm seeing with Comet 2005 build 358, you can navigate the Data Express menu using the keyboard, but you can't actually select a report -- that is, you highlight it using the cursor keys, but you have to physically click the mouse to enable the "View" button. The tabs for Crystal/Excel/IB seem totally inaccessible from the keyboard, as well.
I'm looking at this from an automation point of view (i.e., I can build a keyfile to select a particular report & launch it in Excel), and then create a custom shortcut to distribute to my users, which removes any sort of learning curve -- just double-click the icon for 'X' report.
The other point of view is one of accessibility; having a mouse only interface isn't the friendliest thing in the world as far as that goes. (Not sure that it matters, but just a thought.)
(For my purposes I know I can recreate the report in 'The Reporter', but I'd rather stay away from it if possible.)
