I have Comet '98 running on XP Systems at several locations. Many are single user systems not running the security server.
At this particular location it was a 3 user network. 2 XP, 1 Win98.
The security server and the Comet Dongle were located on the Win98 machine. The data files and comet were located on one of the XP machines. All users running Comet '98, ver. 293.
So, the user decides to downsize to a single user on the XP machine that has the data files and comet. Great, simply move the security server and the dongle to the XP machine and take off knowing that the NT Drivers will need to be installed so the XP can locate the dongle.
Wrong.....
So, do we have an issue with the security server or Comet 98? Comet '98 has been running on this machine for several years.
