Source for SECURITY

The SECURITY program is acting strangely. I enter the name of the password file and the program rejects it and returns to the enter file name prompt. No error message.
And this is before I enter the directory name.
I'd like to see, and possibly change, the source so I can get by this. The source is not in XTL.
Please.
