Our end-user got two new PCs at their warehouse in NJ. They have a few other existing PCs that are printing everything OK. The two new
PCs are WinXP Pro Vsn 2002 SP2 and the Comet involved is C2K5 359. On the two new PCs if they print to their LC1 printer ( Windows printer #,PFONTC ) they get a specific sized Courier New font no matter what is set in their Set Printer and Printer Fonts dropdowns.
I've set it for (Default) printer and I've also set it for the actual printer name printer, I've set the 0-Normal font and the
1-Compressed font for both printers to Lucida Console, and the settings show up in COSW.INI I know I'm working with the correct COSW.INI file because I changed the hyperlink colors and that change
shows up at the READY: prompt. I'm running COSP in debug mode and with all these settings in place all I get are messages showing that
it's printing Courier New with some settings that never change. We know it has something to do with those specific PCs because we connected and can print condensed, and the three other PCs at the warehouse can print condensed. I've really exhausted everything on
this one and don't know what else to try. Thanks in advance for taking a look, Tom.
