First I should remind you that you cannot run the Comet 2000 users with the 6.05 file server. If you have some workstations that will be running Comet 2000 and some that will be running Comet 2005 you'll have to use version 5.08. This is because versions beyond 5.08 only support type "C" directories which were not available back in Comet 2000. If everyone will be Comet 2005, then you're OK but you must configure your directories as type "C" in your Comet.ini file.
Next, I'd suggest you download the latest REL and UTL releases and install them in folders called REL and UTL under your d:\apps\2005 folder.
Your DSK folder can stay where it is. So can your CED if you like. Be sure to update all the pathnames in your Comet.ini file.
