I'm running Ecomet and I want the user to display a .PDF file. When I have an Excel file with an
extension .XLS the file downloads to the users computer and launches Excel to display the file. When I do the exact same thing with a .PDF in the same location as the .XLS file it says downloading, but nothing happens. I had two users try the Excel file, then the PDF file with the same results. They can goto Windows Explorer and click on a PDF file and Acrobat launches. Has anyone ever encountered this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
