I know there are alot of large Comet installations out there - so, I would like to know what the optimal configuration (hardware wise) for peak performance in handling 50 local users and 300 cometanywhere users. I guess another question would be - is this the way to go - consolidate the entire Comet operations at the 'head office' and use cometanywhere for all the subsidiary companies - or - install separate Comet systems at each subsidiary company? What are some of the issues to be concerned about to ensure uninterrupted service to all users? Bandwidth? Backup? Off-site system backup incase server goes done or internet drops connection? Multiple CometAnywhere hosts? etc....
