pdfFactory printing problem

An end-user just encountered a problem with their Invoice Print. This program is setup to work with our Document-Imaging system and
works as follows: Pass 1 prints the CForm-stlyle invoices on the laser printer. When confirmed as correct the program closes the laser printer and starts a second pass of printing the same invoices
only this time it uses the pdfFactory PDF printer. We update a MySQL
database with a document number and generate a PDF copy of the invoice in a "C"-type folder on a Linux box. The problem today was
that the Invoice print program had printed all hard copies and was
verified as correct. The next step would have been to start up again
with the pdfFactory printer which didn't happen. The screen was frozen - frozen to the point that "K" option in Q option 12 would not
kill the partition. I wound up having to close Comet and have the user restart the computer. CometServe32 showed repetitive entries
for the user as follows:
CFAM User:c08 Connected
Login [+COSP::137]
Logout [+COSP::137]
CFAM User:c08 Disconnected
CFAM User:c09 Connected
Login [+COSP::138]
Logout [+COSP::138]
CFAM User:c09 Disconnected
CFAM User:c0a Connected and so on, and so on,....

I will try to stop the services and make a copy of the log file if
that will give you any more info. CometServe32 6.06 and Comet2005
.366 I thought maybe the PC dropped its connection to the Linux box,
but the Q option 12 status and the CometServe32 seemed to indicate the problem was with the pdfFactory printer opening up. Tom.
