AG Russell has experienced an epidemic of Error 94's (Directory Entry Unavailable). I now have a lot of details on the error.

They are running Comet 2003 release 320. The error occurred twice in their Cash Receipts program, on two different files - R2 and R9.

I have attached screen prints of the directory listing in the area of the errors. You will see that their are no entries for either R2 or R9. However both show up in Option 19 and have incorrect record lengths and keylengths. R2 reports as 36/25 and should be 126/6; R9 reports as 239/29 and should be 108/5.

We deleted both files successfully, re-created them successfully and the applications now runs.

What is causing this error and what should we do to eliminate them?
