The filter string is used to determine what will show up in the types field of at the bottom of the dialog. A single filter entry consists of two fields. Fields are delimted by a '|' character. The first field is the description and the second is the mask that is used to determine what is displayed in the list. The example shows two filters (two fields each). One for IB (*.ibs, *.inc) files and another for All (*.*)files.
