DBManager hangs on import

Found this old post from Steve - I am having the same problem. Also included Barb's reply - has there been any answers to this problem.

I can not import a #FILES definition. The session hangs hard. CTL ATL DEL is the only out.
I changed my startup to eliminate all the trash that loads when I start this machine, but that did not help. DB Manager still hangs Comet.
What can I do to help shoot this?

I'm going to need to know a bit more. Where does it hang? When it's listing the file names for a dir or after you've selected a file and clicked OK. If the latter, did you check "import all"? If not, does it hang for every file you've tried or just one?
