I've tested & re-tested this one, and still think I may be doing something wrong, but I can't spot it. 1600 byte Extended keyed file.
field 1 length 10 filler at Position 0
field 2 length 6 key field at Position 10
fields 3 - 22 length 78 comment lines (20) first one at Position 16
field 23 length 24 filler at Position 1576
Should be good, eh? Well, the last 24-byte filler field gives me an
Excp 44, I/O buffer overflow. If I shorten it to 23, the exception
goes away. In Comet Explorer I can manually input 24 characters into
the field, write it and read it back in correctly. Do I need to do something with the I/O buffer? Tom.
