Discovered a problem with the email printer at a client who uses it to email invoices on a nightly basis. Every once and while a customer would call to complain that the pdf attachment they received was not their invoice even though the subject line and the attachment name was correct. Here is an excerpt from the email log file:
Date: Wed, 14 Jun 2006 23:00:42 GMT The same (T75)[871].pdf was sent previously: Date: Thu, 06 Apr 2006 23:00:36 GMT What ended up happening was the customer who was supposed to be emailed DI 379298.pdf on June 14 was emailed DI 117731.pdf from April 6 instead - each of these pdf's sharing the same file name in the autosave folder - (T75)[871].pdf How can this happen? How are these file names being generated? The file names are being reused and causing some kind of conflict? I thought if I used the EmailDocument mnewmonic in my code that that would be the file name stored in the autosave folder? Joe
