We have run with thin client systems in the past. Thin Client refers to either Microsoft terminal server or Citrix installations. Looking at the HP web site on this, it looks like HP also has a solution.

The solution to use for this is CometAnywhere. The Comet host software should be run on some machine on the host network OTHER THAN the Thin Client Host. Each thin client then connects to the thin client host and runs CometAnywhere client and connects to the Comet Host.


We have never tested thin client connections in house, but we understand that some very large installations use this technology for Comet.
