Whole bunch of thoughts on the problem. In order of brain dump.

1. Open the Security Server Console, then Settings, is the "Class C" option checked? If yes, uncheck it.
------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Try making a connection from the CAW host to itself. That might bypass the firewall and gives us a clue.
------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Did the CAW port get changed or are you using a non-standard port?
------------------------------------------------------------------
4. When you start the CAW host does the Security Server show your CAW licenses?
------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Try these tests
a. Open a Command window on the CAW host.
b. Type "netstat -n".
c. Look thru the list for 11751. Is the status "Listening"?

If yes, this test might tell you if the CAW host is being blocked.

d. Shut down the CAW host
e. Open a Command window on another workstation.
f. Type "telnet [IP of host] 11751"
g. Reply should be "Connecting To [IP of host]...Could not open connection to the host, on port 11751: Connect failed"

With no host, this is the correct message.

h. Start the CAW host.
i. Try step #2 again. If you get the message in #3, then the host is blocked. If you get a blank screen and no response (This is what I get), close the Command Window to kill telnet. I think this means that the host receives the connect from telnet but doesn't know what to do and doesn't answer.
