I think that is a decision for the application not the monitor. This is a secondary server, the DIRADD should have failed, the server was not there. The operator was warned during startup and the CMONITOR locks them out.
Further, what if I couldn't bring back this server, I was stuck could not drop to a ready even to do a new SYSGEN to remove the server.
