I would like to access the tables in a Comet database for reporting and business intelligence purposes. We use ADO to connect to data sources, and we use read-only, forward-only cursors which I believe are both supported by the OLE-DB driver. I heard reports that the metadata needs to be defined in order to use the ADO driver. Will the ADO driver automatically be able to read the table names, column names and column types, or will we need to create some sort of data dictionary? Is there any documentation for the driver and the supported syntax?
