In addition to my brain ache, this Create as a QDIR add is asymetrical.

You can Insert and Delete a record
You can Read and Write record
You can Create and Erase a file. Oops. Not quite. If you "Create" a QDIR entry you can not Uncreate it.
Why can't we have a QDIRCREATE?
If not, when can we bid a "fond" farewell to the QDIR??
