An end-user just called to say that he was working in Comet Data Express trying to generate a report on his Shipped Order Detail line
file. He called to say his users were no longer finding history detail. I connected up and his Shipped History Detail file was gone.
No QDIR entry and no file on disk. I was able to retrieve the file
using Novell Salvage, and re-QDIR'd it. He tried to show me the steps he was taking, but he was so shook up that he couldn't effectively do it. Comet2K5 358/05.06 and the latest version of
Cometsrv.NLM I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it for myself. Tom.
