Jim has made a guess what's going on with your long file names. Did you notice that in his test program he assigns a short file name to replace the long file name so that he can do the Comet create? This is because Comet does not support long file names for any file in the qdir. If you want to preserve the long filename, after the transfer is done you might try using the (RenameFile) mnemonic to rename the temporary short filename back to the original long filename.
