Sorry we've been out of computer touch. Spent the last 3 days in Mallorca with daughter Jenie. Beautiful place,and very laid back when compared with Madrid. We ended up in PalmaNova, in a hotel called the Hotel Hawaii Majorca. Great room, 2 rooms with double twins in each room, breakfast and dinner included for about 180US. Palma Nova is the british enclave, so there were lots of Brits, and not much good food. We did find some awesome indian food, and went to Palma the last night to have Lobster Stew, a Mallorcan specialty. We made it to the center of town on Saturday morning, where they were having a huge market thru the center of town. Jenie bought boots for winter, at least her toes won't freeeze now.
Last night we arrived in Barcelona and made directly for the chicken restaurant. Yes! It is still there. Mostly filled with tourists though, only english was heard at the tables arround us and in the bar. As we left, we passed a place called La Fonda which had a line for forever, at least an hour wait, maybe two. We intend to hit that place when we return next week. We are off now to see some Gaudi, then grab a car and head to France. Hopefully somebody in France will have a wireless connection.
