I always seem to have a nack for finding these. Here's what I got. Want to call NOTEPAD via Customer Maintenance via Nova/CTMAINT. Program I ENTER from Nova has no screen I/O at all, just want to load a text file
from a Comet Customer Comment/Notes file and call NOTEPAD to edit it.
Want to take advantage of it's text cut/paste options. After text file is loaded, I perform a (launch=notepad) command and just EXIT. So far, so good. Notepad comes up and away we go... Here's the problem. All my
menu's use hypertext and whatever hypertext I click on, this NOTEPAD call program via NOVA keeps popping up. looked at user addresses and menu stays put at address 02FD, NOVA gets called user addresses 00FA, 0135 and 01E9. Finally my NOTEPAD call program comes up... Just wondering... I've verified that if any screen I/O happens, problem goes away. Strip screen I/O out and this thing happens..
