Hoping someone can shed some light on this.
Our Comet Server is running under W2K3 R2 Standard Server. All of our Comet directories are setup as "C" type.
I have observed that with the W2K3 firewall turned on that the initial client connection (WIN XP systems) can take upwards of 60 seconds. The clients cfg are in a separate shared folder on the Comet server. Even the Signature Logo box takes a long time to show up.
With the W2K3 firewall off, clients connect in less than 10 seconds.
I'd really like the firewall on, but the delay is a pain.
I've put exceptions on the Comet ports 11750-11759
