I tried the "File" method and came up with the following problems.
1. I created a new directory, "XXX", this way and clicked the "Access this directory" button. What next says I, lets create a text file. See Cometex1.jpg. Tried creating a Keyed file and got the same same error. Before I erased "XXX", I noticed that the Keyed file showed. Doesn't look as if the QDIR got updated See Cometex3.jpg.
2. While recreating directory "XXX", I noticed that CometEx had remembered my prior attempt. Clicking the Browse button brought up a Browse dialog positioned at the top of the directory tree from where I'd normally want to be. See Cometex4.jpg. Nice if it started from where I called it.
3. The Browse dialog shows a "Make new folder" button and the New Comet Directory dialog shows a "Create Folder" button. See Cometex5.jpg. Seems redundant. So, if you ignore the Browse path, take the directory path as given, fill in the QDIR name, click "Create Folder" you get an error. See Cometex6.jpg.
