I have customers with all sorts of PCs, from major brands to DIY clones. In the past, I found that if a PC was "flaky" it was usually an AMD based system. Not so much anymore, I think AMD has made some big improvements in their CPU's and the motherboard manufacturer's have kept up. Intel still offers the security of the CPU and motherboard being from the same place.
