1) when using /C in a recent CFAM conversion, I've found that I have to create a one node INI file or I get a very misleading error message about "server FD's" and/or "Demo file size exceeded". Once I have the one node CFG working, I can remove the /C, open the full INI with SYSGEN normally, and build the full set of CFG's.
2) Comet admin user has a mapped drive R: to \\server\comet$. SYSGEN, edit option, will prompt R:\Comet.INI and launch Notepad. SYSGEN, build option, can't, find R:\Comet.INI. You have to enter an UNC.
This complicated by the use of $ to hide shares from the users. There is also a standard $ attached to drives. Like D$. So you can have \\server\D$\comet or \\server\comet$. SYSGEN works with the \\server\D$\comet UNC but not with the \\server\comet$ UNC. Inside the Comet.INI the directories use \\server\comet$. Haven't tried D$.
