I've noticed two other slow close examples.
1) Large or complicated (lots of fonts) PDF's take a while to close while pdfFactory does it's thing. Understandable, I'm thinking of ading a routine in my print programs to check for PDF printer, display an Extended Window showing "PDF file is being created. Please Wait", CLOSE (1), deleted the Extended Window, and then run the menu.
2) Print jobs that run in background send a message to the control line when they finish. When I see the message, I jump to QSPOOL via a "hot key" where I see the print job with a status of "I". I have to do a "P" to refresh the screen. I guess I'm getting to QSPOOL to fast or QSPOOL is slow in updating the appropriate JOBS file.
