It looks like default for a ComboBox is "DropDown". This includes an "edit" box that allows a user to TYPE an entry as opposed to clicking an entry from this list.

Are there methods available to know when a user has done this and to get the text that they typed?

In the meantime I have changed my combobox to a DROPLIST which does not present the EDIT box.

The ComboBox demo DLG14.IBS does not handle typing in the edit box properly either.
