I have reviewed the problems reported by our friends in Eastern Canada and found that EmailPtr did not completely handle the response from the EHLO command. If the server sent out part of the response and then was particularly slow in sending out the rest, emailptr would go ahead and process the partial response. This would get the rest of the conversation out of sync.

Emailptr also did not correctly handle the case where an old smtp server did not handle EHLO at all.

I corrected these problems (I hope!!??).

Attached is a new emailptr.obj.

Please copy this into your REL directory and let me know how it works.
