These are label print programs. Clones of each other. They do a select and sort and then print. However, when nothing is selected, I skip to the end without any printing or doing a CLOSE on the printer LUN. Apparently, from the COSPERR.LOG, having no file to transfer is the problem. That creates a long timeout in the global CLOSE in my menus.
Fell into this by accident while testing. Didn't want to waste paper so I directed the print to my PDF printer.
Everything else I might send to PDF would at least print a page heading. I could whip up a no print test program.
