Tuesday PM "Admin" user emailed about being blocked from Comet with "CometNetServer" error. See RSWD.JPG. That error cascades into a series of other errors.
Early Wed AM, remote connected to her workstation and rebooted. Comet still gave same error. Connected to server and checked logs. Noted that they were on an older version. Stopped Comet Services, upgraded to 6.11 and 277, and restarted Comet Services. Reconnected to worksdtation. Same error. Back to server for a reboot. Back to workstation. Comet now working.
Thusday AM. Received email that all users were unable to run Comet. Connected to Payroll workstation. Tried Comet. Same error. Tried several reboots, uninstalled Zone Alarm, and took Comet out of StartUp. No go. Connected to server. Checked logs. Since log showed zero users, I restarted CometServices. Back to workstation. This time Comet ran. Other workstations as well.
Admin workstation reported this error but Comet did run.
