serial port and Vista

I am seeing articles that say that Vista does not like serial ports. Does anyone know if this is fact?
Some of us, maybe two or three, have serial devices running on Comet. Some day our customers will want to/need to upgrade their machines.
What's gonna hoppen?
Can you even BUY a machine today with a serial port? Does anyone know any thing else about Vista and serial ports?
If I'm wrong about Vista, will the Comet serial thingie run on Vista?
