I have two branches running off a head office server with CA. I am trying to get a new branch up & running and I get the Session Rejected message as if I haven't done that IDMAINT stuff. I set it to build mode (with PCANYWHERE), leave the door open and get the same result. Much careful checking,yes definitely dialling in to the right server. I added in the CAID manually to the IDfile and still get the error.
I dial into another customer and then come in CometAnywhere and it asks me for a user name, so the IDmaint utility is working fine.
Seems it may be a firewall issue at the new branch, is there a port that needs to be opened up at the branch ?
No thats wrong also, I just dialled in to the other customer and was able to create an ID at the wrong customer. I then copied there IDFile back to the right customer but that didn't work either, did give me some of those bloody 99/74 errors though.
The only difference betwen this and most of my other sites is that the host for the CA sessions is not the server., just another pc in the network.- Its not running as a service because I couldn't get that to work when its not on the server.
