Peter:
The INI shows "Server = N01,TCP,L,192.168.1.7;" as the IP. I presume that's the new IP. If not change it to the new IP.
At one of the Comet workstations, add "/C" after the "/PN=node" in the Desktop Shortcut. You might have to take out the "/PN=node" if the next step fails.
When you run Comet it should run in Configure mode and autolaunch SYSGEN. Should look like this ...
------------------------------------------------------------------
02/15/07 12:34:26 T14/P14 SYSGEN - PROCESS CFG/INI FILES VSN: 04.08
SYSGEN COPYRIGHT SIGNATURE SYSTEMS 1987 - 2006 606.376
1. BUILD SYSTEM CFG FILE FROM AN INI FILE
2. BUILD SYSTEM INI FILE FROM OLD/NEW STYLE CFIG
3. EDIT SYSTEM INI FILE
4. CFG FILE HAS BEEN CHANGED, RESTART COMET
5. READ SYSGEN DOCUMENTATION
SELECT PROCESS:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Enter "1" and you'll get this screen.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

COMET INI : OFFICE.INI (Your INI goes here)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
You may have to supply the whole path. Once that is done, SYSGEN will check the INI for errors and build a new set of CFG files.

Since your on Comet98 the screens may be a bit different.
