Keith:

Yes, the Comet32 and Comet2007 can coexist. You must start with a Comet 2007 session. Then when you attempt to run a program, Comet will determine whether it is a 16-bit program or a 32-bit program and invoke the appropriate runtime. It can tell the difference by looking at the object file. (Comet32 objects are created by running the Comet32 compiler from UltraEdit. Use the link below to read the news article from January 5, 2007 for more info.) If it's a 16-bit program it will run exactly as it does today. If it's a 32-bit program it will open a new session running the Comet32 runtime (called Coshdll.dll) and run your program. From there you may run other 32-bit programs or revert to a 16-bit program. Comet takes care of this automatically.
