Single user systems using CFAM dirs do not need a file server license. Just be sure to not specify the "C" in the SERVER= record of the NODE section of your .ini file. The "C" indicates that the machine is a CFAM server for workstations. So, your SERVER= record will just have the "S" for "Security". Without the license the user is restricted to local files only.
