Having just gone through our first renewal, I wondered how this was going to work.
However our new license was applied before the old expired, so I did not see what would happen if the license did expire.

In our Q-world terminal emulation product, LEWin (Client) / QSRV32 (Server) product, the server started displaying a message that the license was expiring a month or so before it was due to. As not everyone was looking at the QSRV32 daily, when the clients connected to the QSRV32 we used an algorthim to periodically show a warning on the clients that the server license was expiring. So as to not bother the clients too much, this message was not shown each time a client connected, however as the server expiration date drew closer, the message was displayed more often.
