I'm trying to run Comet faxing at client site (Woodman). Have run and tested the programs on my WinXP SP2 machine with the same Comet versions and all works fine from network server and client workstation.
Woodman: Win Server 2003 SP2, Comet Security/File Server 7.01, Comet 2007 .381.
Did gpedit.msc settings for kernel mode drivers. Installed CometFaxSupport.exe on Comet server machine and faxing workstation. CometFax printer appeared on both machines with port DataTech FAX port and default application from configure port.
I can see the CometFax printer (LFX) from monitor and shows as Windows printer, NON spool, Path CometFax. When I try to access the printer from within Comet, I get an error 30.
I can run the fax driver demo (import and send a fax file) with no problem, just can't open fax printer.
Could my problem be with Win 2003 printer drivers.
