Thanks for the quick response and implementation of the
LPT & LPH printers. Now we can use them as a "print
engine" for our custom ( Non R/G ) reports. It will make getting fax & email copies out really easy! But
there is one small problem I overlooked and that is the
QDIR entry for your work file name. I have the work file name now via the # buffer, but an MTB open will five me an EXCP 11 with no QDIR. So...
1) Can you give make the appropriate QDIR entry before
pushing the file name through the # buffer? or
2) Tell me what the minimum info is and how it's formatted and I'll do the QDIR write, or
3) I'll do DOS functions on the file to retrieve the
report ( least desirable option ).
I'd be perfectly happy with option 2 as there's nothing
that can be screwed up - doesn't the QDIR get erased
when COMET exits and created on the next startup? Tom.
