It would not prevent multiple nodes from being configured having the same TERM$
It would not prevent multiple PC's from starting sessions using the same .CFG file
Which is what is needed to prevent one user from overwriting the #QSPOOL settings for another user.

There is the session ID, is that the unique identifier for things like #QSPOOL?
How unchangable is the session ID.
I thought I saw a function to RESET it, but have not been able to find it again.
But then just because I get a NEW PC, which would have a new session ID, I do not want to have to setup my #QSPOOL defaults again.. Nor do I want #QSPOOL cluttered up with a bunch of records with bogus SESSION ID's
I see the delima.
