It's hard to guess what happened. The way this function works is by sending a message to CFAMNetServe which actually does the logoff. When you try it again, check the message in parentheses next to the "Remote CFAM Users" count. See if it says "Running" or "Paused" and what the count of remote users is before and after you press the "Logoff" button. We'll have to take it from there.
