I'm interested in this also.
Had a requirement to use DLL's in Windows a while back.
Could find no direct way to access DLL's from an IB program.
Ending up having IB program post a string into windows clipboard.
Then have the IB program lauch a VB program (no window visable)
VB Program got string from clipboard.
Processed the string, then posted the result back to the clipboard.
The IB program then read the clipboard for processed result.
