That text comes from the Visual studio dll. You should have a folder called "dlg" at the same level as "dmw". If not, get the zip file "dlg0601.zip" from our download/windev ftp. navigate to the DlgProj folder. Load the visual studio project called DLGDEMO.sln. You will get an error because one of the includes points to a file on Brian's machine. No matter... edit the code and take off the path info, just specifying the file.

Once The project loads, click on resource view/dialog/IDDBIGTEXT. You should see the dialog in a design window.

I know this seems foreign, because it is.

I struggle with it too. ;-)
