They reckoned that if they rebooted the server each night the didn't seem to get the problem but if they let it run then they did. Over such a short time frame that could be coincidence. However that reminds me that I had an engineer ring me a few weeks ago asking me if Comet had a known bug that was filling up memeory or smething like that over time, as he was having a strange problem at a Comet site that was fixed by rebooting. I think the scenario he was mumbling about was similar to this. I will give him a call come daylight and pay closer attention to his snivelling. He is one of those types that blames anything that he can't fix on Comet so I don't usually take much notice of him.
