Not sure if Jim means a running all the time program. I did that with my one big FaxManJr customer. I could do it again. I'd like a method that doesn't involve a separate workstation, phone line(s), and fax modem(s) dedicated to Comet faxing when there's a fax server that's appears to be within reach.
Someone mentioned that there's a new FaxManJr coming out. The old version didn't support the new XP cover pages. I had to use Win95FaxCover for editing. Still have it tucked safely away :) Runs on XP.
I'd hope that the VB program would go away once the fax had been passed to the fax server. Ideally, the VB program would be able to talk to several fax server packages (ala PDF). Notifications could come back to the user via email. SBS fax has this option.
