Important question! How will the remote user know that there is a program executing on the host machine. Is there a way to give feedback that it is happening and/or completed.
The application we are working on is the remote user initiates a Comet program that builds a data file on the host, at completion of the comet program an non-comet program is run to manage the file. Once the non-comet program is complete the remote user retrieves the file created. The client needs to know that the process has started and/completed.
