OK, here's the latest update ...
The meeting will be the 9th and 10th of October.
The question is where ...
I have 2 proposals in hand:
1) Denver, current Holiday Inn downtown, soon to be a Crown Plaza. Rooms are 169/nite, or 189/nite if you want to be on the "club" floor. Wireless in the rooms. 2 blocks from the convention center and 16th street mall.
2) Las Vegas, the Desert Rose Suites (complete with Kitchen), $99/nite for a 1bedroom; $149/nite for a 2 bedroom. Includes breakfast, evening snacks, beer, wine, and free wireless in all rooms. One block off the strip, next to Hooters, and the Tropicana.
You can google both places and check them out.
So we obviously get more bang for the buck in Las Vegas, but it's Las Vegas, again.
I would appreciate any opinions, travel reviews, whatever. I want to make the decision by the end of the day. well maybe by tomorrow. ;-)
